2009 China Pingyao International Photography Festival

　　Chinese Excellent Photography Book Award

　　■ Award

　　Six winners of the “Chinese Excellent Photography Book Award” will be 　　　　　　　conferred in the form of certificate, cup and bonus in 2009 China PIP Festival.

　　■ Application

　　Books can be any style, covering any theme, but must be published between Sept.1, 2008 and Sept.1, 2009. Final selections of the winners will be decided on photography, editing, design, and binding and layout of the books.

　　Application forms should be filled cleanly and clearly in two copies, one sent by mail, one together with the book.

　　Albums must be well packed for mailing. The PIP Festival will not be responsible for any loss appearing in the process of mailing. No participating books will be returned.

　　■ Candidates

　　Any Chinese photographers (including overseas photographers) can bring his solo photography book(s) for participation.

　　■ Duration:

　　Books should be sent during July 10 –Sept. 1, 2009, to post mark date.

　　■ Judging and Deciding

　　Internationally authoritative judges are organized for the selection of and decision on winners. The selection will be on September 18, 2009. Winners will be invited for the awarding ceremony and conferred by VIP guests. Selected contents of the winning books will be displayed through projection during the ceremony.

　　■ Copyright

　　Participants shall guarantee that all works should not be in any violation of any third party’s copyright, right of portrait and right of reputation, otherwise the exhibitors themselves are responsible for potential legal obligations. China Pingyao International Photography Festival owns the right to use the awarded books for non-commercial uses like exhibition, publicity, promotion, and activities alike.
